Imagine a sprawling wooden barn, set amidst 60 acres of rolling parkland bathed in summer sunshine silent but for the caw of rooks, circling the tall tress in the wood nearby and the stamp and snort of horses galloping across the field. Inside the barn a row of horses nod their heads over the stable doors as chickens strut and peck around your feet.
This splendid, rare traditional living magnificent showman's wagon was built by Brayshaw in Leeds circa 1920 and was a remarkable bespoke home for fairground and circus people. Unique features include ornate carving, cut glass mirrors, expensive hardwoods, painted ceilings, and a superb mollycroft roof.
